About Us

What is this website for?

The Fork2Fork website is about keeping you informed of the benefits of buying fresh, direct and local food for you and your family.

If you're interested in buying great local produce direct, here you can learn about some of the food and drink networks, companies and events in your area who provide opportunities for you to do so.

Visit the interactive map on the What’s On page to discover the location of farmers’ markets, food festivals and more, or visit the Find Food and Regional Networks page for a directory of links to further food information. Also, during the campaign we conducted a number of Case Studies with food and drink producers from all across Wales to provide an insight into their commitment to providing fresh, local food in their area.

What is the Fork2Fork campaign?

The Fork2Fork campaign aims to raise awareness, provide information and encourage people to buy direct from local producers. There are numerous opportunities to buy direct, be it from farmers’ markets, farm shops, box schemes, online, food festivals and of course from the farm gate itself.

Who runs it?

The Fork2Fork campaign is directed by FBA, an award winning PR, design and public affairs agency based in Aberystwyth. FBA was awarded the project in recognition of our expertise in Welsh food branding and PR, covering over 20 years experience working with some of Wales’ most recognisable food brands, including Rachel’s Organic, Halen Mon, Edwards of Conwy. The company has won many Design and PR awards and commendations, and during the campaign has received a Gold CIPR award for the Fork2Fork Conference in 2011 and a Silver CIPR award for the much in demand Fork2Fork Seasonality Calendar. FBA will be directing the Fork2Fork campaign until March 2014. More information about FBA can be found on www.fbagroup.co.uk
