A record number of farmhouses in North Wales will host fundraising breakfasts this year as the industry implores people to “Shake Up Your Wake Up.”  Breakfasts will be held on six farms and another at Bryncir Mart’s cafe in Caernarfonshire, with a further three farms involved in Denbighshire. The events are part of Farmhouse Breakfast Week, an annual campaign organised by the Home Grown Cereals Authority. It has been adopted enthusiastically by the Farmers Union of Wales, which sees the campaign as a “golden opportunity” to promote Welsh food.
